Description - Our client is one of the world's largest private equity firms, with an AUM of over USD 100 Bn.

They are looking for an associate who is working directly with the Country head. The associate will be handling back office responsibilities which the investment team is currently handling, right from SPV management to assisting the Asset Management and Investment Management teams.

Job Description

Reporting to the Country Head, you will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and tracking Board agenda for all SPVs i.e. submission of board documentation, minutes and ensuring procedures and compliance is followed

- Reviewing monthly reporting from investee companies, coordinating and ensuring timely filing of internal reports and other submissions by Asset Managers (AM) and JV Partners

- Assisting AMs in exercises such as annual budgets, valuations by external agencies and coordinating with JV partners

- Assisting Investment Managers in deal evaluation and due diligence by coordinating with bankers, counter parties and external advisors

- Carrying out primary and secondary research from databases like JLL REIS, Propstack analysts' reports from brokerages, Tracking deal flows and maintaining deal database

- Preparing minutes of board meetings and internal meetings such as India deal review meetings; assisting the AM in review and follow up with partners

Profile

You will be a CS/ Law graduate, preferably with a degree in finance and 6-9 years of total experience. Candidates working with the BFSI Industry or investment firms will be preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to engage senior stakeholders and a hands-on attitude are the imperative qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.
