Associate Modeler - Analytics

Associate Modeler for an Analytic Firm in Bangalore

Overview:

- Associate – Modeler will be a part of the team who will be working with offshore team to understand client’s business problem, convert them to data problem, create the analytical solutions and present it to the client.

- He / She will be instrumental in building the capability for process improvements/new techniques within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently working on building statistical models from starts to finish

- Independently or within a team should be able to solve business problems using statistical techniques

- Capable to draw business insights and able to present it to clients

- Develop/maintain ongoing relationship with the client

- Review effectiveness of models for business use.

Qualification / Skills required:

- Masters in Statistics, Econometrics or quantitative degree

- Strong knowledge in Statistics with good problem solving skills

- Able to develop new solutions using Analytical tools

- Hands on modeling expertise of 4-7 years on SAS, R. Should have developed a solution, writing codes in base programming languages.

- Should be comfortable to work in team or individually based on the project requirements.
