Associate - Institutional Equity Research - Power/Utility/Industrial Sector

The role involves supporting the Lead Analyst in the Institutional Equity Research coverage for the relevant sector for ASEAN region .

Job description of the role is as under:

1. Report writing - Initiations, Quarterly, Sector thematic and event specific. Full-fledged detailed report about a company. The report includes analysis about the company's business model, its historical and expected financial performance. Also, includes analysis about the industry in which the company operates

2. Participation and contribution to daily morning meetings.

3. Excel Modelling - Annual/quarterly update, forecasts, valuation

4. Data gathering, spread sheet support by way of timely updation of spread sheets /graphs /background information and report production

5. Stock ideation. Giving stock ideas to analyst for pitching to clients. Essentially help lead analyst to identify stocks that provide good trades and have alpha opportunities

6. Client requests handling -report/model/specific analysis/corporate access
