Job / Group overview  Responsibilities  - Join as an integral part of Asia ex-Japan research team.  - The role will involve supporting the senior analyst telco/utilities sector coverage. Based on progress, the role may grow in to independent coverage of stocks/sectors.   - Work on financial statements of companies, build and maintain earnings and valuation models.   - Maintaining industry/company databases; track & report regulations/news/events on sectors.  - Assist in writing full or parts of research report, taking views on stock and generate commercial ideas.   - Build marketing presentations   - Company contacts and discussion; interaction with clients/ sales / traders  Requirements (indicate mandatory or/and preferred)  - Top Tier MBA/CA/CFA Charter holder  - Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral) with attention to details.   - Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis and security valuation.   - Ability to formulate and articulate views logically, generate commercial ideas and present them.   - Excellent research writing skills   - 2-3 years work experience as an equity research associate in Telcos sector and/or past experience in Telco industry is a plus.  - Ability to work under pressure, multitasking and meet deadlines.  - Knowledge of advance MS Excel & MS PPT
