Associate - Equity Research - Global Markets - Investment Bank

Role & Responsibilities:

- Join as an integral part of ASEAN Research team

- The role will based out of Mumbai office and involve supporting senior analyst based in Malaysia

- Work on financial statements of companies, build and maintain earnings and valuation models

- Track & report news/events on coverage names, Maintaining industry/ company databases

- Build marketing presentations

- Assist in research production process

- Initially role will be modeling and database heavy and over the period candidate will be expected to assist in writing full or parts of research report

- Company contacts and discussion, Interaction with clients/ sales / traders

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis and security valuation

- Distinctive academic record: consistently highly graded within their peer group

- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral) with attention to details

- Understanding of equity markets

- Ability to work under pressure, multitasking and meet deadlines

- Good research writing skills

- Ability to formulate and articulate views logically

- At least 1 year experience in equity research or any other similar role

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS PPT

- Keen attention to details

- Solid analytical skills, including ability to perform data analysis
