Associate - Equity Research

We are Edventus - Business Enhancement Partners an executive search firm based out at Mumbai, has an opening with one of our clients based out at Chennai.

Role Overview:

- The role of an Associate - Equity Research would be to conduct thorough Equity Research and cover Indian stocks and may be also manage a team of analysts covering Indian stocks.

Responsibilities include:

- Carry out detailed research on companies, and on different sectors or markets

- Write a variety of research reports like initiation reports, sector reports, maintenance reports, reviews, previews

- Carry out sector analysis and come up with investment themes /ideas

- Keep a track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector and incorporate these into the research publications etc.

- Analyze financial statements and companies

- Build and refine complex financial models

- Write reports summarizing your analysis and other material as and when required

Candidate Profile:

- 3-6 years of Indian Equity markets with good Sell Side experience either leading or independently handling a handful of Indian coverage stocks. Mid cap experience would be preferred.

Skill set required:

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Strong fundamental knowledge of financial subjects

- Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with clients

- Very good spreadsheet skills
