Associate Director/Sr. Manager - Compliance(BFSI)  Key accountabilities:   - Will take care of UK compliance.  - Key Responsibility of the role is to manage and provide direction, supervision and support to the India Compliance team members to:   - Timely and appropriate escalation of issues and tracking actions to ensure effective and timely implementation.   - Integrate the Compliance function with local business partners to ensure on-going compliance of their systems/procedures/processes, and provide general compliance support.   - Maintaining an appropriate level of technical understanding of relevant regulation and keeping abreast of regulatory changes and developments.   - Building relationships with the relevant business areas and other oversight groups.   - Conduct in-depth monitoring reviews, provide assurance that business controls align with regulatory requirements and implement effective regulatory risk control   - Manage communication of key issues throughout the local Compliance team and business areas, and across sites and functions as necessary.   - Provide on-going training for business partners ensuring that they are conversant with and kept up to date with regulatory requirements.   - Holding regular meetings with appropriate business area contacts and keeping them up to date on regulatory changes and issues   Code of Ethics   - To manage and provide direction, supervision and support to the local Ethics resource to:-   - Ensure a consistent and seamless administration of the Code of Ethics for the employees, correct code classification of employees, timely roll-out of the periodic acknowledgements and reminder/escalation processes   - Timely and accurate advisory to employees and reiteration of critical Ethics policies from time to time.   People Management   - Manage the local business Compliance and Code of Ethics teams to meet regulatory and business needs.   - Managing work distribution   - Supervising work standards;   - Giving regular feedback (e.g. one-to-one & team meetings);   - Carrying out staff appraisals;   - Managing training & development of direct reports; providing training & coaching (where appropriate)   - Being involved in staff recruitment (as necessary)   - Cascading and feeding back information   Desirable Experience   - Leadership skills – 5-7+ years of managing people.   - 5-7 years detailed knowledge of the provision of UK compliance services within the financial services sector.   - Proven management, influencing and negotiating skills.   - Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to quality and the will to constantly drive service improvements.   - Excellent planning, analysis organisation and judgement skills are essential   - Excellent business acumen.   - Excellent communications and people management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment   Desirable Qualifications   - Educated to graduate level.   - Legal or Accountancy qualification desirable.   7838090993 (Tressa)
