About Job Knowledge

1) Expert knowledge of General Accounting functions in a multi legal entity environment including Treasury, A/R, A/P, Service Tax and Withholding taxes in Services

2) Implementing the process enhancements in the software/ IT applications to ensure there is a 100% compliances happening and process efficiencies are scaled

About Role

Oversees the general accounting function, which includes inter-company/firm accounting ( in a multli legal entities environment) , cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting and cash flow and balance sheet management.

Ensures that company financials, under responsibility, are prepared and maintained in compliance with company policies and India GAAP. Responsible for preparing the quarterly accounts, reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance. Provides technical accounting I-GAAP guidance and support to all company/entities.

Responsible for proper application of revenue recognition rules alongwith the appropriate position of services tax as is applicable to the professional services sector. This currently entails a real-time review of each client contract and suggests appropriate structures where required. Involves significant interaction with the Service Lines teams.
