Title : Associate   Department : Transaction Advisory   Reporting To : Associate Director/ Senior Associate   Role :  Deliver financial modelling and transaction advisory services and support seniors for interaction with client throughout delivery by developing in-depth knowledge on financial models, structures and contracts in order to ensure best quality service to clients.   - Develop knowledge and deliver high quality work under guidance of senior members in following areas in order to meets clients' expectations on timeliness, accuracy and completeness  - Develop and audit high-end, complex financial models by analysing key business drivers and conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis in order to ensure compliance with project documents and applicable accounting & taxation practices as well as achieve international quality standards  - Support business valuations and investment analysis through due diligence and valuations exercises in order to evaluate businesses for investment opportunities  - Review project documents to assess the commercial and contractual implications, under various contracts, specifically for Project Financing structures  - Support in design and development of solutions for clients by gathering information, conducting analysis in order to enable design of best solutions for clients  - Prepare reports, information memoranda, summary and presentations as required by the nature of assignments  - Participate in negotiations of commercial and contractual aspects of the projects with banks/financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties under the guidance of senior members in order to get their buy-in on Synergy's point of view/ recommendations  - Interacts with client representatives to gather information, transaction updates and seek clarifications   - Conducts secondary research of client or sector, analyse data and produce reports to provide understanding and insights for business development  - Supports in designing solutions and creating proposal documents to enable the team win the transaction   Education Qualifications :   - MBA / PGDM (in Finance) from premier institutions. CFA is preferable   -1-3 years of relevant work experience with banks or funds or similar advisory entities. Experience in infra/ project finance is preferable.  - Open to international travel
