Associate Director - Liability Operations - Rural Banking - Bank

Opportunity to work with new licensed bank for Associate Director- Liability Operations (Rural Banking) in Mumbai.

Objective:

Responsible to design & develop operation's process for the liability business of Rural Banking. Ensure detailed documentation, process monitoring and adherence. Partner with the technology team for efficient and effective implementation along with staff training.

Key Responsibilities

- The candidate will be key from the operations perspective for designing the processes related to rural business in the initial stages

The person will be responsible for -

Interacting with various stakeholders for finalization of processes including detailing the SOP's along with BCP / DR for CASA operations, Term Deposit & other liability products

Participate in the technology evaluation and testing for operations

Managing the training on the detailed processes and system to the operations team

Contribute to drafting policies for regular monitoring and reviewing existing systems and procedures

Design internal controls /quality audit checks for various processes including detailing the control check Points for Data, KYC and AML

Ensuring the processes and policies are compliant and streamlined within the regulatory guidelines

Building in controls for operations related activities

Monitoring and tracking the operations activities like productivity, TAT etc

Managing the central processes related to FDR, storage etc.

Managing the vendors and planning the staffing for future volumes

Handling the customer and internal queries related to operations

Candidate Profile

- The candidate should have handled central operations role for 7-10 years with at least 3-5 years in liability operations.

- The person should have full understanding of liability business including

- Should have worked on process documentations at length

- The person should be good at training the team on system usage as well as processes

- The person should be proactive, team member and self-motivated requiring minimum supervision

- Should be well versed with regulatory requirements

- Person with certification in TQM/ Six Sigma / TQM, Kaizen with implementation will be preferred
