Associate Director/Director - Compliance & Operation Risk

Compliance Risk is the risk of reputational damage as a result of regulatory non-compliance or Conduct matters. Operational risk is the risk resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems, or from external causes (deliberate, accidental, or natural).

Our Client in Pune is looking for a Compliance and Operational Risk Specialist to execute on the mandate of this function in their Pune Business Solutions Centre.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following:

- Support the regional and global C&ORC teams in the execution of the C & ORC mandate in the Pune BSC

- As Operational Risk Controller, implement the Operational Risk Framework for the Pune centre.

- The primary objective is to ensure all Operational Risks are identified, properly assessed and recorded in the Operational Risk Inventory, and have adequate remediation plans to reduce the risks to an acceptable level.

- As part of the gate-keeping function in the Pune centre, assess and approve transition initiatives against local regulatory requirements and restrictions.

- Also work with the relevant Control Function teams to understand and manage underlying risk in migrated processes

- As part of the Compliance remit, monitor the implementation of and adherence to our Client's Employee Compliance policies covering such matters as staff personal dealing, outside business activities and information barriers

- Creating and updating the Consequential Risk Map and Consequential Risk Matrix.

- Providing advice and assistance on C & ORC related policies and best practices in covered risk areas

- Assess, escalate and report Consequential Risk matters according to established thresholds and escalation and reporting guidelines.

- Implement additional local Consequential Risk controls required by local (India) processes or identified in task orders
