Associate Consultant - Transformation - BFSI/FinTech - Consulting Firm - IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI (1-5 yrs)
Associate Consultant- BFSI/Fintech
Opportunity with one of the tier II US based consulting firm.
2-5 years of experience with industry (BFSI/Fintech) or will be Consulting firm preferred.
Prefer candidates with experience in large transformations, digital strategy with or for bank or Financial technology companies
Education: MBA from an international university/Premier B schools
The role includes managing consulting projects as part of FinTech practice. While the primary focus is to work on IT Strategy / Application Selection / Program management engagements, CIO Advisory, Program Assurance/ Health checks, there will also be significant opportunities to work on engagements across strategy formulation, process and business transformation areas.
Engagements involve building business ownership and coordinating with client team - business & technical, and with vendor personnel. Cedar's FinTech practice has rich experience in Evaluation, selection and project management across leading vendors of Core banking, Treasury, Trade Finance, Enterprise GL, Cash management, Credit Card, Risk Management, Data Warehousing systems and other applications.
The job involves extensive use of office applications - PowerPoint, Excel & Word. We have offices in global cities and a large number of projects presently executed in the Asia/Middle East region.
Primary responsibility includes consulting engagement delivery, client relationship, team management and assistance in identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing relationship.
Competencies:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Good academic track record plus a Masters or a Post-Graduate degree from a premier B-school
- Rich experience in project lead / PM roles
- Good Understanding of BFSI segment
- Core banking experience would be a plus, PMP/ Prince certification will be an advantage
- Good Leadership skills and an enterprising personality
