Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Investment Banking - BFSI Sector

Designation : AVP/VP- Investment Banking -BFSI Sector

Job Description :

- The candidate is expected to play a key role in origination and execution of Investment Banking transactions in the BFSI . He / she will be actively involved in every aspect of M&A / PE transaction and should be able to independently execute transactions and attain closures.

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for end-to-end execution of deals

- Leading preparation of confidential information memorandum and management presentations

- Identifying and contacting potential buyers or acquisition targets or investors

- Performing financial analyses and valuations

- Leading due diligence and transaction closings for execution of transactions

- Manage investor and client expectations with respect to deals

- Lead investor discussions / negotiations

- Responsible for thought leadership in the sector and pitching to clients for deal origination

- Support the reporting manager in creating BD pipeline

- Liaising with Relationship Managers and cover Client Relations in the relevant sectors

- Performance will be measured on deals originated and executed and fee generated

Requirements :

- 7-10 years of work experience in Investment Banking preferably in BFSI in financial modelling and valuations

- Experience of handling the M&A / PE mandates

- Strong networking skills
