Assistant Vice President - Sourcing & Category Management - BPO (10-15 yrs)
Assistant Vice President-Sourcing and Category management
- Managing procurement of indirect material/ services requred for multiple clients
- Spend & vendor consolidation to optimize the savings
- Making annual rate contracts with suppliers
- Strong hands on experience in or other ERP systems (like Ariba, SAP, etc.)
- Interact with key customer stakeholders and work closely with them to identify areas of improvement.
- Offer creative solutions to support overall procurement program and achieve desired results.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Basic Qualifications :
- 10+ years of Sourcing & Category Management experience out of which approx 80% should be in indirect sourcing
Preferred Qualifications :
- Should have strong experience in category planning, stakeholder management, global sourcing
- Very strong knowledge of suppliers in indirect categories
- Experience procuring various indirect material/ services
- Experience in new vendor development for indirect material/ services
- Proficiency with Excel & Powerpoint
- Process oriented with excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills.
- Project management skills.
- Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.
- Knowledge of procurement operations, ERP systems, transaction management a big plus
