Assistant Vice President - Learning & Development - BFSI (8-15 yrs)

- The Site Academy Lead role is a critical role in the overall GR / Tech Learning structure. The Job Holder is responsible for driving the overall Learning Strategy articulated for the Learning Function at large. To achieve that, the Job holder will work closely with the HR Business Partner on site, the Center Manager

- L &TD Colleagues and Vendors to enable the execution of the Learning strategy in the most effective and seamless manner.

- The role holder is expected to have a good understanding of the curriculum and offerings from the Group Solution Center and Academies.

- The key is to leverage on the information and utilize the available frameworks to drive Learning needs analysis and manage the ongoing Learning requirements at the site.

- Consulting, Analytical and Relationship Management skills will be critical as the incumbent is expected to work closely with key stakeholders to identify the business needs, aligning the solutions to the business needs whilst pursuant of the broader Learning agenda. The job holder is expected to bring to the table specialist Learning knowledge, customer centricity, issue resolution and Market intelligence.

The job holder will be responsible for leading a team of Learning Specialists as required and provide them with Leadership, Strategic direction, required information and tools & techniques for them to be able to deliver.

Critical Imperatives :

- Deep and wide subject matter expertise, with an exceptional ability to work across Global Functions and HOST teams.

- Knowledge of the different management and leadership methodologies is a key requirement/preference

- Commitment and focus to delivery against stated goals and objectives.

- Experience of working in a matrix led environment and, accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organizational structures and cultures.

- Excellent influencer and negotiator with good stakeholder management skills.

- Balance of diplomacy and firmness - ability to show good judgment when escalating or dealing with escalations

- Is performance driven and results oriented

- Time management, organization skills, and ability to prioritize competing demands in constantly changing environment

- Committed to working in a diverse and equal opportunities environment

- Functional expertise - a successful track record of delivering suite of Leadership programmes

Desired :

- Relevant education, or equivalent industry/functional experience

- Computer literate and proficient with MS applications e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Notes

- Knowledge and awareness of active industry leadership organizations and associations
