About our Client :

- Our client is one of the largest MNC banks in the world known for its aggressive and progressive approach. They service retail, consumer, and investment banking clients and have been successful in expanding their services in the sub-continent.

Role :

- Assistant Vice President - Employee Relations is responsible for managing the strategy and implementation of Employee Relations in India and work in partnership with regional HR colleagues to provide a framework for effective and efficient Employee Relations Across India

- Design, maintain and implement overall ER strategy, policies and activities, aligned with commercial and HR functional requirements across India.

- Track all Disciplinary Cases / Ethics Hotline (grievance disclosure channel) complaints across India for satisfactory resolution. Investigation,and reporting of the Ethical / Disciplinary Cases on need basis.

- Working with Award Staff Union Office-bearers on grievances, agreement specifications, disciplinary actions etc.

- Create / Modify, consolidate and communicate/implement HR Policies (excluding C&B related) aligned with commercial and HR functional requirements across the Legal Vehicles in India

- As a successful candidate you should have 8-10 years of experience with Post-graduate degree in Human Resource Management and Full-time Graduation in General Law from a Recognized University

- Knowledge on Labor / Employment Law with understanding of Justice Delivery system in the country

- Experience in drafting/editing policy documentation and ensuring legally compliant

- Innate interest in developments in employment environment

- Good understanding of the various functional areas within HR and their role/importance.

- Experience of working in a highly complex, international, matrix organization.
