Job Description:

Domain rich teams work in a collaborative environment to provide group-wide reports and analysis cutting across several dimensions for both internal as well as external regulatory reporting. The Data Quality Management and End-to-End Reconciliation functions ensure accuracy of reporting, while the Change Management team provides expert impact analysis and support for rolling out system enhancements and changes into the integrated Risk Capital, Liquidity Risk and Reporting Infrastructure.

C&L team interacts with several stakeholders on a day-to-day basis within the bank that include Business, Finance, Risk Analytics, Portfolio Risk, Group Regulatory Reporting functions, Treasury / ALM, MTCR (Market Traded Credit Risk) Operations and Technology. This team provides services covering all client segments of SCB across all 50+ countries, through a centralized and standardized delivery model under Global Process Management framework.

Methodology & Analytics:

- Provide quantitative analysis to the business to enable effective management and optimization of the balance sheet in light of regulatory and internal policies/limits.

- Provide insightful analysis and advisory to senior management to enable better management and forecasting of multiple interdependent capital and liquidity risk measures.

- Design spreadsheet-based forecasting / simulation / modelling prototypes based on agreed methodologies and/or regulatory/internal policies.

- Partake in building and testing new models / prototypes as well as enhancements to existing models.

- Facilitate implementation of appropriate tools and ensure proper training and embedment of developed tools in order to reap expected business benefits.

BAU Analytical Support:

- Conduct Variance Analysis & back-testing on the existing models and make necessary modifications to improve the effectiveness of the model.

- Work towards continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to decrease process turn-around time and improve productivity.

Business MI & Platforms:

- Challenge proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements while bearing in mind scalability and optimization of resources.

- Validate and conduct gap analysis on existing tactical solutions and provide strategic replacement and enhancement where necessary.

- Work closely with the business in the consolidation, standardization and documentation of business requirements, as well as the assessment of the corresponding ROI/business benefits.

- Share best practices and promote standardization.

Operations & Program Management:

- Act as a central coordinator between the business and the Technology teams to ensure delivery of effective and standardized tools, with the optimal amount of resources.

- Represent the business in various working groups to ensure that development requests are properly communicated, prioritized and implemented according to agreed standards.

- Collaborate and build strong relationships with business and technology teams to align development roadmap to business priorities and ensure consistency and promptness in service delivery.

- Actively participate and contribute in ongoing change management initiatives to enhance the Capital and Liquidity Reporting framework that is aligned with the regulatory and bank's technology objectives.

Develop strong functional content and conduct trainings / share best practices across various teams and aim towards enhancing the analytical quotient in all reports submitted to the stakeholders.
