Assistant Product Manager- Pune

Tasks of the employee

To be responsible for planning and executing product portfolio related initiatives to drive business goals

The incumbent is expected to deal with customers, vendors, industry bodies etc. Internally the incumbent regularly comes in contact with senior management in India, local Sales Managers, Marketing and Technical Team, Product Development team etc.

Employee's own field

Portfolio Optimization: Margin improvement, Portfolio expansion, Complexity reduction & Technology Gap analysis to be done to maintain and grow a healthy product portfolio.

New Product Introduction: Keeping an eye on the market / customers to identify pain points/needs for new products to working with inter disciplinary teams to develop & test the product and final launch planning with Marketing.

Sales Promotion: Designing and implementing sales promotions for high potential products, slow moving products, newly launched products etc. to deliver business growth without impacting overall profitability.

Process Improvement: Bringing more efficiency and effectiveness to all processes, tools related to Product Management.

Requirements

- BTech degree in Chemical / Mechanical engineering

- MBA- Marketing

- 3 to 5 Years of experience in marketing with chemical or Adhesives industry

- Analytical Skills

- Project management Skills

- Communication skills
