We are looking out for a Assistant PC Controller for on behalf of our FMCG Client to be based in Sanand location.

Prerequisites :

Understanding of the project/budget controlling process.

Strong and practical knowledge of factory operations & commercial taxes in the factory environment

Good understating of the factory costing and MIS system & development of performance matrix for the operations

Eye on controls and ability to convert them into SOPs

Thorough understanding of the SAP system & its end to end implications from the factory operation/control point of view including FICO/T&P/MM/QM/AMM modules

Ability to get into details & work with cross functional department

Ability to convince people and knowledge transfer

Should have demonstrated ability to work with multiple propriety and stakeholders

Strong interpersonal/communication skills

Strong, analytical, drafting,

A high degree of diligence,

Compliance mindset and

Ability to effectively manage & develop people/reportee and colleagues

Required Qualification :

Education: Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience covering area of costing, factory control, factory commercials and tax, MIS & Internal Controls.

Strong knowledge of costing and its concepts which can be applied to drive performance in the plant

Thorough understating of statues like VAT, Excise, custom and service tax in context of factory operations.

Candidate having worked on the project control/start-up of the factory will be an added advantage.

Ideal candidate should have worked as super/key user in SAP in the factory environment & also implement SAP as a FICO lead in factory

Ability to handle and manage people at different levels.

An excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.

PC Know-how: excellent MS-Office skills (especially advanced knowledge of excel& power point), and SAP.

Role & Responsibilities :

The incumbent will support the GST implementation and Costing/ Planning activities in the factory.The major activities will include :

Ensure/ support implementation of GST related changes for the plant.

Ensure closure of SAP requirements for the changes due to GST implementation

Lead implementation of GST at plant level in SAP.

Working with cross functional teams to support changes in the overall IT framework for simplification as well as to keep pace with changing requirements especially tax laws.

Support sustenance of the Beiersdorf Controlling processes at Factory.

Support preparation of product costing and ensuring the same is available in SAP at component level for all FG products and in line with Beiersdorf standards.

Understand and support preparation of SOI (Statement of Income) on monthly basis for reporting.

Provide strong analytics to PC Controller for building plan for next year at component level including closure of KPIs with cross functional departments.

Preparation of trackers for COGS development and forecast clearly highlighting opportunities and risks for meeting the plan.

Preparing the monthly MIS and sharp analysis of cost/ operational performance to bring visibility on improvement areas and closure of the action points.

Lead automation of reporting framework in SAP while ensuring standardization with Beiersdorf processes/ MIS systems.

Provide close support to PC Controller in submission of periodical reports like CIS, investment reporting, risk reporting, SoI, monthly closing and execute the needed reporting after alignment with local Management.

Driving/ supporting automation by developing processes for accurate data entry and extraction of reports from BI tool while understanding the report constructs and analysis requirements.

Ensuring accurate inventory management within the plant by driving periodical physical verifications and training team on benchmark inventory management practices.

Ensure pipeline of productivity initiatives for current and future financial years is available to ensure cost sustainability.

Drive various operation and forecasting forums to bring visibility on issues on hand and future buildup.

Provide visibility on the master data in the FICO-areas (i.e. Cost Centers, accounts, elements) and double-check all master data in other areas (i.e. MM, SRM, SD)

Provide support as key user (main SAP user for CO and MM module of SAP) to the local team as well as users within the region.

Support costing and budgeting exercise for expansion of plant.
