As a part of their Finance department they are looking to identify Assistant Manager - UK Financial Accounting.  Would you be keen for a role where your responsibilities include-   - Producing of monthly financial accounts.  - Ensuring complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems.  - Scrutinizing of expenses and investigation of variances. Collect substantive evidence to support the variance  - Managing the workflow for the approval of invoices before being sent for payment   - Providing clarifications / information to auditors on Financial Information.  - Ensuring operation of agreed financial controls including all relevant reconciliations in accordance with SOX requirements.  - Producing information for tax, statutory and regulatory reporting  - Keeping up to date with reporting standards development, covering UKGAAP  - Demonstrating a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise  Are you someone with-   - Qualified accountant with post qualification experience / graduate or post graduate with commerce  - Qualified accountant with 4-5 years of experience or Post graduate in commerce with 8-9 years of experience  - Technical accounting knowledge - IFRS.  - Ability to monitor a SOX compliant control process.  - Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced) and PeopleSoft.  - Strong communication skills, both oral & written  What's in for you-   - A Meritocratic culture with clear career progression.  - International Multicultural work environment in the heart of the financial capital of the country.   If you think this role will add value to your career, kindly write me an email along with your updated CV for a confidential discussion on the role.
