Company : Fortune 500 world's largest FMCG/CPG firm having global existence.

Position : Asst Manager

Job Details:

To conduct research crossing a variety of multivariate statistical approaches. This role addresses two specific roles:

1. To consult & execute complex survey and non-survey based research requiring advanced quantitative analytics to address the questions and goals of General Mills businesses

2. To advance the quantitative research capabilities of the organization by identifying, creating, and applying new techniques in a way that provides better answers and solutions to business questions.

- Evaluate multiple data sources - Primary research (Concept Testing, Volume Estimation, Brand Equity, Customer Satisfaction, etc..) and Syndicated data (POS data, Panel Data, Consumption Data) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights.

- Provide the story not just the data

- To be a Subject Matter Expert on Statistical methods

- Work with cross functional team - Leverage Statistical methods to help resolve business issues.

- People management responsibility for 1-2 member team

Strategic Responsibilities:

- Identify process improvement areas.

- Leverage Continuous Improvement tool to eliminate waste in the process

- Support new business

- Connect with cross functional teams and help resolve business issues.

- Serve as a statistical resource to Mumbai-based team members as appropriate.

Operational Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the team is delivering projects as per quality standards

- Share / update team's feedback with the team lead.

- Ensure site metrics is updated and other productivity documents as per instructions

- Oversee all work on project for quality and manage timeline

- Analyze study results, create insights and develop complete story

- Conduct statistical analyses for specific projects in support market / consumer research efforts using survey data and/or existing data (e.g., syndicated data) Provide clear verbal and written explanations of key conclusions that can be drawn based on the analyses conducted.

- Own specific analytic infrastructure relating to mission-critical statistical approaches, especially those involving automated syntax tools such as SPSS.

- Build process efficiencies into analytic procedures as opportunities present themselves to provide swifter analyses with higher accuracy.

- Provide initial report-writing duties as requested from US-based team members for all analyses conducted.

- Be able to explore large data sets and proactively make recommendations for an analysis plan and follow-through with the proposed plan.

- Integrate other learning as appropriate

- Provide the story not just the data

- Lead 1-2 engagements/projects and be accountable for the project deliverables.

- People management responsibility for 1-2 member team

- Lead the transition of new projects assigned to their team

- Work closely with SMEs / Client teams to support them on their project needs

- End to end project management on multiple projects that are going on

- Project and engagement feedback process

- Conduct frequent Check-in / update meetings with leadership team.

- Ensure the team updates the site metrics and other productivity documents as per instructions

People Responsibilities:

- Good team management and people development skill

- Participate in recruitment process (1st round selection process)

- Ensure the new hire is up to speed - via training, shadow projects

- Identify learning / training needs for team and encourage team members to participate in training

- Ensure that the contributions on projects/deliverables are documented

- Feedback is positively and constructively delivered to all

- Adhere to all the HR processes - Regular feedback, IDP process, appraisals, etc.
