Experience Required:

- Having good experience of purchasing Sugar/ Milk/ Coca.

- Having experience in packaging material.

- 4-6 Years of experience of purchase

- Vendor development experience.

Job Responsibility:

- Single point contact and end to end responsibility for select categories of raw material and commodities like Sugar/ Milk etc.

- Devise and implement purchasing strategies to achieve Purchasing objectives of adding long term sustainable value to the business in terms of costs, quality and service

- Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance.

- Market research or analysis to gain insight in the market dynamics.

- Develop price tracking mechanisms for managed raw materials from various sources including govt. mandis and traders

- Maintain up to date supply base information database.

- Supplier profiling and selection, Contract management & Price negotiations Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to Raw Material suppliers.

- Participate in purchasing related internal meetings, including making presentations to senior management.

- Maintaining competitive pricing.

- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; assure all items brokered have proper paperwork and documentation.

- Negotiating long term agreements.

- Implement policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and professional operation consistent with corporate vision.

- Interact with vendors for procurement of material, developing new vendors for new products, also worked on developing various formats like online vendor registration, vendor comparison and vendor evaluation forms.

- New vendor Introduction on regular basis, regular meeting with vendors regarding purchases, follow-ups and payments, negotiation for the rates and making necessary contracts & MoU.

- Regular inventory evaluation, finding new avenues of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for products in order to reduce the cost of Inventory holding.
