The position is with a leading FMCG company based out of Pune.  Major Action: Brand Management  - Liaison with the sector marketing team and the product development team for the product development initiatives.  - Develop the product positioning as per the brand architecture.  - Prepare launch and relaunch plan.  - Explore and study business feasibility of potential products which is in-line to the Company’s business expertise and strategic focus.  Major Action: Communication Development  Write creative brief, brief and work with the agency on creative jobs such as new TVC, print ad, radio to ensure they are in line with the concepts and meet the timeline. Supervise the concerned agency during the production process.  Major Action: Consumer Interface  Brand Positioning:  - Provide consumer insight in relation to the category.   Consumer Insights:  - Identify and propose research plans to address consumer knowledge gaps.   - Execute approved brand research plans  - Assist with sector research initiative as requested.  Major Action: Innovation-roll out plan   - Ensure launches as per the innovation funnel.  - Coordinate and liaison with the supply chain and packaging team.  - Liaison with the regional/local product development team as applicable.  - Follow through the process of research, branding, packaging development, marketing planning and market test.  Major Action: Packaging Development  - Recommend brand packaging requirements.  - Ensure proper use of global trademarks on packaging.   - Provide local translation of all packaging materials.   - Assist with the execution of packaging development.  Major Action: Corporate Communications and Public Relations  - Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies.  - Liaising with media, individuals and other organisations.  - Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media.  - Collating and analysing media coverage.  - Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes.  Looking for someone with MBA in marketing with 4-7 years of experience.
