Designation : AM/Manager

- Candidate will be involved in a variety of indirect tax work such as VAT, CST, Entry Tax, Service Tax, Customs, Excise, Foreign Trade Policy related matters and GST for MNCs and corporates.

- The advisory and compliance work will involve tax planning, local and international supply chain structuring, reading and interpreting excise and customs tariffs, VAT audits, CENVAT advisory and audit, entry tax and CST advisory, issue of written tax opinions, preparation, filing and follow-up for service tax refund claims, service tax certification, compliance reviews, assessments, reply to notices, various statutory registrations, filing of returns, advising on various VAT, service tax, customs and excise procedures, EOU/STPI advisory, setting up and de-bonding work, etc.

- The litigation work will involve preparation, filing of appeals and personal appearance at the Commissioner and Tribunal levels.

- The job will involve a lot of reading, interpreting and analyzing case laws including Constitution of India. It will also involve co-ordination with clients across the world and extensive use of word and excel applications.

- The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant /Semi-Qualified whose has specialized in indirect tax field.
