Assistant Manager/Manager - Economist - Conglomerate (1-5 yrs)
The opportunity is with a large diversified business conglomerate having over USD 40 billion turnover in Mumbai.
Designation : Assistant Manager / Manager-Economist
Location : Mumbai
Job responsibilities :
- Research in broad areas namely the Indian and Global macro-economics, country study, financial markets, policy advocacy, and sectoral research.
- Tracking of macroeconomic variables on a regular basis such as GDP, inflation, trade for India and other relevant countries.
- Tracking and forecasting of financial market variables like currency and interest rates for India and other relevant countries for risk management.
- Preparing representations for policy advocacy by understanding the policy fine-print and developing a coherent argument that furthers Group's business interest while being economically rational.
- Country study by understanding the features of an economy such as economic, political, policies and other risks from investment/ market perspective.
- Serving businesses by understanding their needs from an economic or business research perspective. This is done by being involved with them in different projects and through answering their queries.
Qualification : MA/MBA/PhD
Required Skills :
- 1.6 Yrs -5 Years of Economic Research/Macro-economic Research from any of the industry, Management Consulting, Research/etc.
