Assistant Manager/Manager - Clearing & Settlement Collateral (1-12 yrs)
1. Clearing and settlements Operations
- Oversee the daily risk management activities of the specific segment
- Guide the AM in the activities to ensure timelines and compliance requirements are met.
- Ensure checks are in place for timely execution of processes
- Ensure proper work allocation
- Escalation with impact in case of errors / problems in the clearing and settlement processes
2. Interacting with interfaces
- Handle communication with the depositories-, banks, NSDL and CDSL for ensuring timely processing of pay-in and pay-out.
- Ensure compliance of various entities like custodians and banks to Exchange compliance specifications
- Ensure systems and processes are in place for uninterrupted communication and interfacing
3. Data and systems
- Ensuring accuracy of data being provided to external agencies
- Identification of areas for process improvements automation etc.
- Involvement in new products conceptualisation ad launch
4. Audit
- interacting with internal auditors for regular audit queries
- ensure compliance with audit requirement of the depositories
5. Market data, analysis, trends
- Maintain relationships with the members for easier communication
- Receive queries from members, coordinate with internal departments and respond to solve them.
- Attend member calls with a view to understanding suggestions and problems therein
- Track Market news and handle escalation in respect of news that may impact clearing and settlement activities
