Assistant Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain - Apparels (4-15 yrs)
We are looking for a "Assistant Manager- Logistics and Supply Chain( Apparels) with one of the fastest growing Retail client for abroad location.
Experience: 4+ Years experience in Apparel warehouse
Location: Abroad
Job description :
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Handling custom clearance of import and export shipments
- Awareness of custom rules and regulations.
- Ability to negotiate and finalize with freight forwarders and transporters.
- Assisting procurement team.
- Maintaining the inventory.
- Preparing the various reports related to logistics.
- Follow-up with transporter for timely delivery of goods.
- Validation of transporter bills & coordination with accounts for payment.
- Preparation of invoice/STN/Sample/GRN vouchers & maintain log.Data Entry as required during making various bills for shipping and logistics.
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Update and monitor entries in software / system.
- Maintain records including problem documentation and action taken; file management logs and similar data.
- Distributor co-ordinations.
- Follow up with warehouses & Head Offices for documentations
