Assistant Manager - Logistics - Domestic & International - Internet/Online (6-9 yrs)
Job Description
- Experience in many facets of transportation with Air/Sea modes. (All mandatory, Facets of transportation include but not limited to:
a) day to day operations
b) commercials
c) tracking
d) TAT adherence
e) handled large number of service providers
f) handling all types & models of transportation in respective modes etc.)
- Good knowledge of domestic documentation required for all modes of transportation include but not limited to:
a) Customs regulations
b) INCO terms
c) Risk & damages
d) insurance etc.
- Good knowledge about of transporters, Shipping agencies, carriers, clearing houses etc.mandatory. Need to get quotations from market& collate them to choose economic LSP case to case basis.
- Manage LSP's SLA's and ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues/concerns on time bound basis.
- Reconciling invoices & timely releasing of payments to LSP's.
- Candidate must have experience in handling 3PL service providers in warehousing. Should have handled large number of SKU's, for storage, packaging, distribution etc.
- Candidate with E-commerce, B2B, and Start-up experience is preferred.
- Candidate should have strong communication skills and proficiency in MS-Excel is mandatory.Preference will be given to those who have worked in SAP/ORACLE.
- Candidate must be willing to travel as per business need frequently
