- Administering Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and Commission posting, External payments, collection of interest, Nostro Reconciliations, general administration related to the loans portfolio managed along with undertaking adhoc queries and investigations,

- Validate captures, events and payments processed by other members of the team (clerks or eventually other validators)

- Actively assist in the training and development of less experienced members of the team with on-the-job training, coaching and development

- Provide guidance to other members of the team regarding technical loans administration subjects, provide regular coaching to loans administrator

- Ensure compliance with all necessary controls and procedures in respect of local regulations of branches serviced

- Responsibility to escalate any issues/problems or control gaps to their Team Leader

- Responsibility of daily controls (as a back-up of team leader when he/she is away)

Key competencies required of Job Holder:

- Sound knowledge of general banking operations (to include Accounting, Funding Nostro movements and Cash management)

- Solid experience of Loans Administration and the ability to understand terms and conditions of loans contracts

- Ability to identify changes to processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency

- Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to loans operations

- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and with all parties concerned, notably Business Support Groups located abroad in multiple branches
