Assistant Manager - Legal - LLB - Software Firm (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :
- The incumbent would be responsible for end to end legal /vendor/customer contract management for global operations.
- He/she shall also be responsible for all statutory and regulatory compliance generally required in an organisation.
Job Responsibility :
Prepare a variety of legal correspondence and legal documents, including resolutions, Power of Attorney
Drafting, reviewing, vetting of different types of Legal documents including Contracts with Customers, Vendors, Sub Contractors, Third parties.
Drafting of Lease Agreements :
Proof reads and edits correspondence, reports, and other related materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures and standards.
Indexing, filing, and researching correspondence, legal opinions, court decisions, and other related documents.
Preparing of reports, correspondence and other materials.
Organize and prioritize work assignments related to the basic operations of commercial and legal office
Compose, edit, and format complex correspondence and reports including issue and replying to various Legal Notice including from Employees, Vendors & Customers
Managing various Corporate Asset and other Insurance Policy
Handling Employee Benefit Insurance Policies including Group Personal Accident, Group Term and Group Mediclaim Policies
Desired Profile :
The incumbent must be LLB with minimum score equivalent to 60% throughout with 5-7 years of prior work experience.
He/She must be familiar with filing and registration of Trade mark, copyright and patent application and applicable laws (preferably in Software Industry).
He/She must have prior exposure on procedures of filing and obtaining various statutory License for corporate that include Shops & Establishment, Trade License, Contract Labour License on PAN India basis and must be conversant with general office policies, rules and regulations.
He must be able to understand, interpret, and apply pertinent laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directions
Effective communication is crucial, especially wrt legal paperwork.
Evaluate work methods and efficiency and be able to work under pressure.
Should have : Clear thinking, flexibility, adaptability to work schedules, effective verbal and written communication, time management, self-confidence, open to changes & challenges, eye for detail, perseverance, discreetness and diplomacy, analytical thinking; sound independent decision making and team work.
