Assistant Manager - Legal - FMCG

Assistant Manager - Legal - looking for candidates with min 6yrs FMCG exp have worked on contracts - Only Mumbai candidates may apply

1. Supporting the activities relating to filing of cases by the Company and defending of the cases filed against the Company (both criminal and Civil)

2. Maintaining record of all the franchisee agreements and other contracts and ensuring the renewal of the same from time to time.

3. Handling of 138 cases, attending court and liaison with advocates

4. Replying to various consumer case notices and follow up with advocates on the same

5. Drafting agreements for franchisee activities, general contracts, affidavits, indemnities, NDAs, replying to govt. notices, vetting the agreements etc.

6. Updating of Statutory License for all the plants and co-ordination with the plant legal team for various matters

7. Dealing with all legal compliances for upcoming projects and preparing IEM, Application forms and Compliance check list

8. Keeping track of all the suits and cases and reporting on monthly basis through company's legal software.

9. Dealing with all formalities regarding bill processing and payments thereof to advocates, professionals, property taxes etc.

Knowledge of general laws, Contract Act, PFA regulations,
