Assistant Manager - Legal - Contract - LLB - IT (4-10 yrs)
- Provide support for day to day legal needs of commercial team
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating:
Software license/development contracts (SaaS engagements)
IT services contracts (e.g., professional / consultancy services)
IT infrastructure contracts(e.g., Telecom, Cloud and hosting agreements)
- Evaluate software license compliance issues, including open source software and copyright
- Keeping abreast with changes to law or key trends in the industry that may have an effect on how we do contracts
- Must handling client front facing role.
Candidate Profile:
- Ideal candidate must have an LLB degree with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience as in-house lawyer in a multinational company or a diversified domestic company with global presence
- Cross-border/international transactional experience in IT/ITES/BFSI domain is essential
- Sound legal knowledge and common sense approach to legal issues
- Exposure to contract disputes, including dispute resolution and/or litigation will be an added advantage
- Ability to independently manage issues
