Working on a position in IT Audit with a leading Indian Conglomerate

Responsibilities:

- Independently manage all phases of the audit/project including planning, execution and reporting.

- Reviewing audit working papers and reports, along with providing staff auditors with coaching culminating in a successful presentation of the results to senior leadership.

- Interface with the Financial and Operational Audit teams in performing some integrated internal controls reviews.

- Support the establishment of frameworks for IT GRC in assigned units as per industry best practices.

Required skills and experience:

- Overall 5-7 years of experience, including at least 3 years of IT audit experience.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or related IT/IS discipline(s).

- CISA, CISSP, CIA certification.

- Sound knowledge of IT and audit concepts, standards, and methodologies and relevant audit and security frameworks, such as COBIT, COSO, ISACA/IIA Standards, SAS, etc.

- Good knowledge of information systems security and controls for LAN/Client/Server, Windows 2003, Oracle, SQL Server, as well as e-Commerce and Internet/web technologies and Network Infrastructure.

- Demonstrate strong competencies in areas of IT General Controls, including (but not limited to): Access Administration, Systems Development Lifecycle and Change Management, Production Environment Access Control, and Computer/Data centre Operations.

- Understanding of how IT supports business processes and translate IT risks to business risks.

Preferred skills and experience:

- ERP application (i.e., SAP, PeopleSoft and Oracle) and business process experience, in implementation or auditing role.

- Knowledge of the ITIL control frameworks, SOX, PCI and data privacy standards.

- Proven analytical and organizational skills to work independently on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure quality results, are expected.

- Coach/mentor/develop team members to perform at a higher level by giving those opportunities, providing timely feedback, and establishing goals.

- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to communicate the scope and impact of identified risks.

- Demonstrate strong competencies in areas of project management, relationship building and all aspects of engagement delivery.

- Willing to travel, up to 50%, including international travel.
