Position : Asst. Manager-International Purchase/ Commercial (Hypermarket & Cash & Carry Chain-UAE)
Role :
- Look after International Purchase for the Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, Department Stores and Cash & Carry Stores
- Forecasting levels of demand for products and keeping a constant check on stock levels
- Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments
- Identifying potential suppliers and building and maintaining good relationships with them
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided
- Processing payments and invoices
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
Requirements :
- 5-10 yrs of experience in Purchase/ Buying especially in International Purchase for a Retail organisation
- MBA (Preferred)
