Assistant Manager - Information Security (3-6 yrs)
Job Description and Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure that Sales, Business Management and Development teams receive Infosec support as they request.
- Provide responses to Requests for Information.
- Communicate Infosec and business information to widely varied audiences.
- Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.
- Work with Sales Personnel to provide Infosec related knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
- Coordinate requirements for proofs of concept
- To stay on top of changes in business, issues/requirements/regulations/Information Security and understand where the market is going.
- Responsible for understanding business and Infosec aspects addressed by the solutions team including key regulations, compliance requirements, business drivers, evolving business needs etc.
Skill /Special Skill:
Good understanding of information security standards / regulatory requirements including ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SSAE16 etc.
- Knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy Laws.
- Good understanding of information technologies including LAN / WAN, firewalls, Antivirus management systems, OS hardening guidelines etc.
- Good spoken, written, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated / managed with minimum amount of oversight and willing to take on responsibilities
- Articulate, able to communicate technical ideas and solution in business language and terms
- Ability to think out of the box
Education: - Graduate with 4+yrs into information security role.
