Designation - Asst Manager (Indirect Tax)

Experience:- 3 to 4 years- experience in Indirect Taxation.

Qualification: CA/LLB

Location: Parel, Mumbai

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To be overall responsible for the Indirect Tax compliance of Indirect Tax (Excise, Service Tax, Sales tax, Custom, SEZ, FEMA, FTP etc)

- Helping to advise clients on all indirect tax issues

- Indirect Tax Reviews & Health checks.

- Contract review, transaction review & transaction structuring from an indirect tax perspective.

- Indirect tax risk mitigation strategies.

- Preparation of response to show cause notices & appeals.

- Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills coupled with commercial awareness.

Skills :

- Good technical skills

- Expertise in atleast one area of indirect tax

- Exposure in handling advisory and litigation for VAT, service tax, and excise
