Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

We are recruiting an Assistant Manager in our GPTS (global people technology solutions) team.

The role will require relationship management and collaboration with the wider business, the People Function and ITS leadership across KPMG globally to ensure all requirements and business needs are continually addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing a team of 12 members, Reporting to KGS- GPTS head and working on projects, costing, team development plans with the head.

- Regular monitoring of support responses delivered by the team members to ensure quality and mentoring the team with appropriate development aspects required for individuals.

- Understand & manage workload distribution across support portfolios amongst team members and ensure SLA strong support delivery with intensified quality.

- Preparing weekly audit and work distribution report, team capacity analysis, and planning for future resource requirement.

- Establish strong professional relationships with KPMG member firm teams.

- Conducting bi-weekly calls with member firms to ensure their queries are answered and the team delivers up to their expectations whilst maintaining a strong relationship with member firm key contacts.

- Manage communications & training needs for the team & member firms users and delivering newsletters across portfolios.

- Work with KPMG global implementation team and plan for smooth implementation of SAP SuccessFactors with the help of team members.

- Drive implementation along with team members with appropriate project tracking and reporting project performance/ status on weekly basis.

- To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development.

Prior Experience:

The candidate must have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm / third-party KPO/IT-BPO company/internal research/Banking/ technology companies.

Skills & Experience:

- Prior experience in project planning, implementation, HR technologies support, effort estimate, team handling, staffing, providing feedback, etc.

- Proven management skills

- Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects

- High problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity

- Goal driven - should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements - by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective

- Prior experience in HR Systems implementation & operations support. Project planning, implementation, HR technologies support, effort estimate, team handling, staffing, providing feedback, etc.

- Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations.

- Team player; team management skills, self-driven and ability to work independently.

- Ability to work across cultures and build strong relationships in a global environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
