Manager/Senior Manager - Indirect Taxation - Infrastructure (7-15 yrs)
Job purpose:
Accurate and timely computation of all Indirect Tax liabilities and timely preparation & filing of Indirect Tax returns, issuance/receipt of Forms. Preparation of data for all audit and assessment requirements
Key Accountabilities:
1. To accurately estimate liability of all Indirect taxes after taking into account inputs credits and reversals as applicable
2. Make timely tax payments
3. Timely return filing of all tax types as per compliance requirements
4. Timely filing of Forms applications and add-ons as per compliance calendar including reconciliations of pending forms
5. Timely receipt of C Forms, reconciliations, maintain tracker and follow up with business for pending Forms.
6. Update compliance tracker and dashboards on an ongoing basis
7. Obtain and maintain registration licenses for VAT, Sales Tax & Service Tax and other IDT licenses. To ensure the validity of all registration licenses.
8. To assist the IDT Controller team with any data/documents at time of Audit, Assessment or Litigation
9. Ensure immediate action on all queries & no backlog under regular operations. Inform user in case of any delay and share reason / revised ETD
Education: CA/Non-CA
Relevant Experience:
- 6-9 years of overall experience of which 2-4 years of experience in taxation
- Desirable - Experience in Shared Services
Experience required :
- GST implementation
- Service Tax (Major)
- Commercial Tax (Sales, VAT,CST, Entry Tax)
- SAP (FICO)
