About Company : The Company is one of the largest privately held Cement manufacturing companies in India, with corporate head office at Hyderabad. Currently catering to Southern Indian Market, the company plans to invest more than 2000 Cr to expand manufacturing capacities at strategic locations in order to become a pan India player by 2018.   Corporate Projects Team : The Company intends to invest more than INR 2000 Crs over next 3-4 years to set up new plants, buy railway wagons and dedicated cement carriers (ships).   From choosing the next location for expansion (in order to have Industry leading cost structure), securing the land and the raw materials, negotiating and working with the state government for subsidies, and figuring out the most competitive capital structure to finance the project, Corporate Projects Team is responsible for the strategy as well as execution of these projects until they are construction ready.   Corporate Projects Team has also started a number of new projects to increase the efficiency of the current operations, and works with internal logistics team, procurement team and marketing team to ensure that these projects are not only executed well but also have the desired impact.   The team comprises of individuals who want to make a career in General Management. All the members of this team are Engineers + MBAs from reputed schools, and more often than not prefer to have flexible Job Descriptions, which gives them exposure to multiple facets of management.   The team is looking to add two junior members, who share similar passion to learn the art of transforming a company and making sensible and long lasting investment.   Job Responsibilities/Description:  - Project management : Monitor & Manage execution of the internal & external projects, and work with various stakeholders within the company to remove roadblocks. The candidate will be expected to work with or interface with senior representative from marketing team, procurement team, logistics team, and finance team. Therefore, it’s must for the candidate to be self-confident yet respectful towards other team members.   - Monitor various operational matrices on month to month basis, analyze the trends and identify new opportunities/projects to improve bottom-line of the company.  - Keep a close eye on the competitors to identify possible threats and bring out mitigating solutions.   - Ensure smooth and timely execution of projects. This point cannot be stressed enough. It’s in the DNA of the company to undertake ambitious projects, and finish them on time and way below Industry Standards. The candidate will be given a project, more than one at times, and will be expected to exhibit similar characteristics i.e. be persistent, pro-active, focused and confident enough to manage the projects with minimal direction from the team lead.   - Although this position does not entail a lot of travelling or relocation, but the candidate should be mentally prepared to travel to meet external stakeholders like government officials, villagers, vendors, and bankers.   Minimum Qualification : BE/B.Tech. (One of the core branches) from one of the IITs with good academic background   Preferred Qualification & Experience:  - BE / B.Tech. (One of the core branches) plus MBA from one of the premier institutes  - Have couple of years of work experiences post engineering and pre MBA, preferably in manufacturing set-up  - Financial Analysis & Project Finance  - Strong financial modeling and analysis skills  - Familiar with Logistics Optimization tools like JDA
