Assistant Manager - Brand Marketing (5-10 yrs)

ROLE: Asst Mgr, Brand Marketing (E Com Demand Generation)

Location: Bangalore

REPORTING:

Manager, Marketing

Scope:

Help grow and accelerate the India business, and brand preference, on the e-commerce channel - owned .com and wholesale.com

- Increase reach and presence of the brand online

- Develop a consumer centric online shopping experience

- Develop and lead the implementation of integrated wholesale online digital communications campaign to support the brand's business objectives and commercial goals

Key Performance Indicators (including, but not restricted to):

- Tracking impact to e-Comm business: growth in units, revenue, transactions and sell-through

- Tracking brand metrics: Awareness, Recommendation, Authenticity, etc (per the GBE study)

- Tracking E-Comm indicators: Reach, impressions, conversion, CTR

- Build preference for the brand on wholesale.com

Key Responsibilities

Strategy:

- Develop and implement consumer-centric digital online strategy and initiatives that are aligned with the overall marketing plan.

- Develop an E-Commerce marketing strategy to achieve overall e-commerce objectives.

- Ensure a consumer centric shopping experience on .in and on.com

- Develop and implement consumer-centric digital online strategy and initiatives.

- Manage omnichannel integration from a marketing perspective.

Operations:

- All communication across e-commerce channels to be consistent with the tonality, quality of the brands and is updated periodically as required.

- Maximize sell-through and demand creation through agreed online activities.

- Ensure continuous optimization of e-commerce marketing channels to drive greater traffic/conversion rate

- Regular reporting / KPI management on E-commerce digital marketing activities

- Content creation for use in catalogues on .in and .com.

- Provide EComm partners with shoot guidelines and influence content created by them.

- Work closely with Key Account Managers to deliver and bring holistic product concepts to life

- Collaborate with Key Account Manager in the development of specific actions/campaigns to increase business performance.

- Work closely with e-commerce partner Marketing Teams to define and execute specific co-marketing plans that drive footfall, conversion, and sell-through.

- Work closely with e-commerce partner Marketing Teams to increase page views and show up better in search on their sites.

- Micro-site / virtual shop-in-shop management in collaboration with ecomm partner marketing team.

Education & Experience

MBA with minimum 5 + years- experience in E Commerce.

Deep understanding of search marketing, optimization, digital media strategy, and planning.

- Experience in the retail sector, preferably in fashion/youth / lifestyle.

- Deep understanding of how to execute email campaigns, website development, digital creative.

Functional Competencies:

- E-commerce/digital skills

- Knowledge of e-commerce promotion planning and implementation practices

- Understanding of Marketing and Brand management

- Creativity / innovative thinking to drive accelerated growth of the business

- Open-mindedness and the ability to integrate and collaborate are essential to the success of this role.
