Assistant Manager - Actuarial - Insurance

- This role will assist the senior managers and assistant vice presidents within the corporate actuarial team to carry out their responsibilities as per their respective sub functions.

- The sub functions within corporate actuarial pertain to Planning & MI, Reporting & Statutory Valuation, Risk Management & Reporting, Prophet & Modelling.

- The role holder will be responsible for developing of various actuarial models in excel, Prophet & DCS and provide the necessary output from these models to their seniors as well as get involved in providing actuarial input regarding their relevant areas of work to other departments across the Company such as Finance, Operations, IT, Sales etc.

- The role requires good knowledge of actuarial concepts and the ability to proactively come up with solutions to problems. Good written and verbal communications skills are an advantage for the role.
