Role : Assistant Manager - Actuarial & Analytics

Location : Mumbai - Powai

Are you someone with?

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights

- Knowledge and understanding of Property and Casualty (Re)Insurance

- Ability to create interactive models in MS Excel

- Experience with tools like - ResQ/Igloo preferred

- Strong programming skills in Excel and VBA a must

- General level of understanding of tools like R-Analytics/ @Risk

- Basic skills in MS Office and VBA (macros

Would you be keen for a role where your responsibilities include:

- Should have cleared at least four actuarial papers

- Candidate is expected to work on traditional/non-traditional pricing products and structured reinsurance solutions. He/she is expected to provide actuarial support to team members across the group.

- Understand the advanced analytics requirements and plan the tools/concepts that needs to be used to achieve desired outcome.

- Estimation of IBNRs using standard actuarial methods or other statistically robust techniques.

- Ability to develop new and maintain existing tools either independently (Excel and VBA based) or as supervised by reporting manager

- Assist manager in creating and maintain an up to date knowledge data base on property & casualty insurance/reinsurance actuarial procedures
