AGM-Procurement, Bangalore (6 days working)

Here's a brief JD of the Procurement role as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement of raw materials (for assigned commodity / product), as per forecast and to meet production plan of the factory. Ensure zero production down time due to raw materials shortage.

- Responsible for raw materials inventory for the assigned set of products. Identify and take actions to reduce unhealthy inventory

- Define Safety stock for raw materials, manages accurate master data in system (Oracle) related to lead time, safety stock.

- Release purchase orders to suppliers based on the MRP output.

- Responsible for on-time delivery of materials by suppliers, against purchase orders released to them. Reduce back order lines from suppliers.

- Pro-actively identify and mitigate / escalate supply issues from upstream, working together with Purchase, quality and logistics teams

- Pilot the containment, corrective and preventives actions to solve the upstream supply chain issues of the plant

- Ensure usage of Schneider upstream tools by suppliers for PO acknowledgement & supply commitment.

- Lead improvement projects with suppliers on lead time reduction, logistics cost reduction, Consignment etc.

- Awareness of Electronics Market ( PCBA business, EE market etc)

KPIs

- On-time delivery from supplier on purchase orders released. ( External supplier service rate : ESSR)

- Back order lines from supplier (Upstream BOL)

- Raw materials inventory days ( DIN)

- Unhealthy inventory ( UHS)

- Forecast accuracy - Upstream

Qualification & Experience:

- BE / B Tech / MBA from reputed institute.

- 15 years of experience in raw materials planning & procurement/ SCM

- Working knowledge on Oracle

- Management of Electronics supply chain

- People management experience 5+ years
