Job Description :

- Excellent drafting skills and ability to grasp complex legal and commercial transactions.

- Good command over language and ability to structure contracts from scratch based on discussions with business teams.

- Drafting and executing all kinds of business contracts, commercial agreements, MoUs, Letter of Intent, Statements of Work.

- Drafting and preparations of pleadings in court proceedings, writ petitions, civil suits, criminal complaints, consumer complaints, cheque bouncing matters.

- Replies to legal notices.

- Liasoning with our solicitors for legal matters.

- Drafting of letters, affidavits and petitions relating to disputes filed by broadcasters/ cable operators or against broadcasters/cable operators in the TDSAT and High Courts.

- Traveling to Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, or any other place as per company requirement, and meeting and briefing counsels.

- Drafting and executing agreements with broadcasters and cable operators.

- Preparing and finalizing Joint venture documentation relating to take over of cable TV networks across the country

- Familiarity and understanding of the Regulatory framework applicable to the cable and broadband business.

- Advising the management on day to day affairs.

Experience Required :

- Minimum 7 years post qualification.

- Corporate Exposure

- Ability to read, write and speak Marathi.

- Experience in litigating and also corporate contractual documentation.

- Law Graduate, additional qualifications such as an LL.M or a Solicitor is preferable

- Excellent communication

- Very thorough in legal aspects

- Open to travel
