Assistant Director - Restructuring

MNC Shared Services

Location: NCR

- Experience in liquidation processes, debt syndication, initial career spent in FP&A or corporate finance.

- Advising companies and investors improve their total expected return in times of transformation and deteriorating performance and growth.

- Able to advise clients on what’s gone wrong, improve liquidity, and evaluate and implement work-out or turnaround processes that will restore profitability and improve returns to their stakeholders.

- The main objective is to achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, informing them of our scope of services and communicating how these services benefit their organizations.

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:

- Manage a team of 35 - 50 people

- Performing Qualitative and Quantitative account business development support

- Measure, monitor and improve client service by guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery

- Focus teams on the key priorities while managing several medium to large size projects

- Ensure that team members deliver quality service as per client’s needs and priorities

- Ensure smooth service delivery

- Partner with internal and external clients to improve processes

- Work with project leaders to analyze resource needs and gaps across locations, and devise alternative ways forward.

- Assign people to projects based on their skills, career goals and client’s expectations

- Produce assignment budgets and timetables, and manage delivery against them

- Provide team members with accurate and useful guidance in technical areas of high risk and complexity

- Act as a counsellor for team members

- Participate in goal setting, performance appraisal and management of counselees

- Identify L&D requirements of counselees

Competencies/skills:

- Excellent understanding of company and industry research and financial statements

- Excellent knowledge of liquidation process of companies

- Expert level knowledge of basic corporate finance principles

- Good understanding of corporate transactions and funding mechanisms

- Expert level knowledge and hands on experience with MS Excel

- Assessing findings and communicating insights

- Managing risk and practice management

- Scoping and engagement

- Articulating TAS value propositions and developing the business

- High energy with good people management and project management skills

- Proven experience in interacting with senior management of clients

- Leadership skills

- Relationship management skills

- Coaching and developing others

- Teamwork

- Quality service delivery

- Communication and influence

Education and experience:

Qualified CA/MBA with 10+ years post qualification experience in:

- Management consultancy firms

- MNC or large Indian companies, preferably within a shared service environment

- Preferred exposure of Big 4 consulting
