Job Purpose:
- Responsible for managing Brands / Products for the Consumer Health Care division. Lead brand planning and execution of the marketing strategy to improve market share and profitability of the brands
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise the overall Brand Value and formulate the Marketing Strategy for the given Brand / Product in alignment with the vision / brand proposition
- Develop the brand identity and brand equity in alignment with the overall Marketing Strategy
- Identify potential new avenues of revenue generation in collaboration with I&P team; Develop market entry strategy for a brand for previously untapped markets
- Conceptualize brand upgrades / brand variants / renovations in alignment with the brand proposition and market opportunities; Present business case for the same for approvals
- Co-develop the Cost - Revenue Model for the Brand and ensure that the top-line & bottom-line objectives of the brand in terms of market share and profitability are achieved
- Work closely with the media buying & digital marketing teams to ensure effective media planning & evaluation to ensure optimal ROI on all media investments
- Coordinate with I&P team to conduct primary and secondary market research to seek industry and customer trends to feedback into marketing/ promotional plans
- Develop promotion / launch strategies and drive implementation across the regions through Customer Marketing Teams
- Lead product re-launch as planned entailing robust project management and cross functional coordination with Packaging development, Brand extension, I&P, Media Planning team etc.
- Develop and maintain product database with product specifications, artwork and catalog copy for dealer advertising and catalog programs
- Liaise with advertising/ promotions specialists / media agencies to design sales campaigns and sales collateral that are effective and appropriate for the target audience and in-line with the identity of the product
- Manage and communicate sales information including product changes through PR and Media team
- Prepare sales forecast and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenue and costs against forecasts and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the Brand SKUs
- Lead Content development and creative planning to execute the advertising plans in line with the overall marketing strategy including:
a) Preparation of marketing content and material for communication
b) Design of communication collateral, posters, advertisements, presentation templates and other material required for an effective sales pitch/trade awareness
Candidate Pre-requisite:
- MBA with specialization in Marketing only from tier I institute
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Brand Management in FMCG sector
- At least 1-2 yr Brand Management/Brand Activation stint with good experience of sales
- Preferably from FMCG/ F&B Companies like Marico, Britannia, Cadbury, Asian Paints, Dabur, Godrej Consumer, Colgate, GSK Consumer, ITC Foods etc
