The Aspiration Detection India Sales Leader is responsible for:

Sales Management

- Lead the business to achieve the sales and gross margin targets for each year.

- Functionally lead the sales team to develop the right process and measures to ensure superior account management, channel management and work closely with the functional team to serve customers and drive for higher productivity/ profitability for the business.

- Work with the India Functional Heads, Enterprise, SMB and Industrial Sales Heads within India region to understand customer needs/ sales opportunities, vendor / supplier capabilities and margin/ cost implications in pursuit of sales and profitability.

- Ensure strong working capital performance with Inventory Management (Forecasting & planning), and AR Management (Credit processes).

Leadership & People Management

- Build strong trust-based relationships with managers to be their counsel for the sales team and ensure robust team management processes and day-to-day management

- Recruit and manage high performance team of key talents across Sales.

- Work closely with the leadership team to review/ modify allocation of resources to drive for high performance, lower attrition, improve people productivity and create sustained depth in leadership across each team.

- Drive the development plan of all top talents through individual development plans.

Channel Management

- Provide counsel and work closely with the Marketing team in setting the product, marketing and sales promotion strategy vis-- -vis customer segment positioning.

- Build and drive core Channel Management capabilities.

- Ensure expansion of Customer Base and ensure Sales Revenue and Gross Margin

- Developing tactical sales promotion activities that includes all aspects of channel strategy & operational management, channel requirements analysis and competitive/ profit maximizing pricing tactics.

Integrated Supply Chain & Logistics Management

- Provide the support to the Supply Chain Manager in ensuring the Sales Inventory Operations Plans are in place and the ability to achieve annual operating plans, ensure lower cost to serve with higher customer service levels.

- Provide support to the customer support team in its pursuit of providing an ease of doing business for our customers.

Key attributes of successful candidates will include:

Previous Work Experience

- 10+ years of total experience with direct accountability to driving revenue and profitability; managing a high performing sales team with proven track record of high growth and margin expansion will ensure the candidate has the right credentials to take on this responsibility.

- Proven experience in driving different sales models - Key Account Management, Channel-Distributor led sales management, Channel-System Integrator led sales management; all of which primarily in a business to business product environment managing a complete fully engaged business model with a variety of products sales ranging from long cycle to short sales cycle.

- Proven experience in working closely with a peer group comprising of cross function teams in Marketing, Working Capital, Customer Service, Technical Service, Supply chain and logistics experience; with ability to cohesively work together with an integrative approach to meet goals.

- Prior work experience/ exposure through consulting assignments to HSF priority verticals - Construction, real estate, industrial etc

- Must be a passionate, professional, motivated quick learner who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

- Strong business acumen, leadership, and strategic program execution skills, process driven with strong analytical mindset.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills as it relates to disseminating and gathering information to staff and management and marketing to prospective clients or business partners.

- Strong analytical problem solving ability; rigorous and resourceful with a pragmatic approach - applying 80-20 rule and coming up with directionally sound logic to navigate through limited data situations.

- Ability to assume ownership and responsibility for complete operations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility in terms of dealing with changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills in order to deal with customers, business partners, staff and management from a variety of skill levels as well as different authority levels within the organization and customer's organizations.

- Ability to assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into elegant, written, spoken and visual communications.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate in Engineering with Tertiary education in Business Management (Post Graduate Diploma, Masters, etc.)

- Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
