Role Identifier Job Title - Brand Manager - Digital Department - Marketing Reporting to - Group Brand Manager- Media and Digital Grade - M6 Location/Unit - Head Office - Vakola Role Description Job Purpose - Responsible for conceptualizing, implementing &amp; managing Digital Experiences for Asian Paints and all other brands and services within the portfolio - Leading the Social Media Marketing agenda for Asian Paints Primary Responsibilities Business Responsibility Areas - Management of all Social Media assets including inspiration stories and Blogs - Managing all aspects of digital operations: Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Mobile marketing, new asset/tool creation etc - Develop organizational capability, and competence in digital - Content Marketing - formulate content strategy and be responsible for taking it from concept to launch. - Manage RFP , contracts, reports, data analysis with all external stakeholders/agencies - Implement best practices, new strategies, innovative features on an ongoing basis on digital - Search Engine Optimization - Develop a long-term SEO strategy to raise the organic rankings of important keywords and meet traffic goals. Define and implement SEO best practices for on-page content, URL structures, page titles, meta-data and anchor text. Utilize reporting tools to systematically track and improve natural search performance - Social Media - Reach out various segments to generate positive buzz. Maintain relationships with bloggers, influencers, etc. Create and manage a strategy for high user engagement on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter &amp; LinkedIn. - Maximising media reach for content created - Managing distribution of the content - Understand and educate the marketing team on the media basics in the digital space - Maintain the recommended working to non:working ratios on digital content - Manage the media agency and the digital creative agency ecosystem - Continuously measuring and enhancing user experiences on digital platforms - YoY increases in measures of audience reach and brand engagement across web, social and mobile channels - Increase in website traffic via SEO, Social media and all other engagements - Increase conversions (ROI) rate, reduce cost of sale/acquisition - Effective activation of brand engagement with bloggers, fans, etc - Enhance processes, implement best and innovative practices - Quality data analysis to identify insights and trends in order to take business decisions - Content pegs reach in the TG segments and regularized training programs along with information sharing with the wider marketing teams Scope of Work a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): - b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): - Will be working in a team alongside 1 other Brand manager- Media c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) - HO d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): - Company Wide Key Interactions Internal - With Various Brands within Marketing - With Systems External - With digital marketing agencies and the media agency Role Requirements / Specifications Qualifications Essential - At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing - Should be a go-getter who demonstrates an ability to take a concept and implement it to create a desired impact. - Ability to think on feet and implement even faster are key requirements Desired - Hands on experience in working on popular CMS based platforms like Drupal, Wordpress etc - Basic knowledge of HTML and some server side scripting language will be an added advantage - Strong implementation skills, negotiation with agencies Previous Experience Essential - 5 years of experience in digital marketing with at least 2-3 years in digital agency Leadership Competencies - Execution Excellence - Build Successful Partnerships - Challenging Status Quo - Impactful Communication - Lead People - Customer Centricity
