Managing Director/Director-PE, Entrepreneurial opportunity in Investment Banking

ASIACAP is one of the fastest growing boutique Investment banks in India with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore and New York. We are expanding and are looking out for a candidate with a strong background in Private Equity with a focus on Technology, Financials, Healthcare and Consumer sectors. This is a high profile role and the candidate will be a part of the ASIACAP Management Top Team.

A track record of successful deal closures and excellent relationship with PE Investors and Corporates is a pre requisite for consideration.

KRAs:

- Originate & close Private Equity, M&A and private financing deals.

- Excellent understanding of the technology and/or healthcare sector.

- Work closely with the team to Originate as per Investors requirements / reverse enquiries.

- Plan and monitor the PE budget and pipeline.

- Research and scan market for investment opportunities.

- Follows developments in the PE space to maintain an understanding of current and anticipated trends across relevant sectors/industry verticals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Excellent relationship & knowledge of the investor segment is a requisite for consideration.

- Complete deal life cycle understanding of the Private Equity/Private financing business.

- Strong Distribution skills with both onshore and offshore investors.

- Good Origination skills. Excellent relationship with clients across hierarchy.

- Successful track record of executed mandates.

- Good knowledge of legal and financial structures.

- A strong work ethic, self-motivation and a desire to succeed are key.

- Sense of ownership as a steward of the company and an infectious passion for their area of responsibility

Education: Top-tier college (e.g. IITs)/MBA (e.g. Ivy League, IIMs)/ Economics- - graduate /Charter Accountant preferred

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
