Manager Strategy  Company : Arvind Limited  Location : Ahmedabad, India  Position : Manager, Strategy  Reporting to : Chief Strategy Officer  Background to the Position :  Arvind Limited is looking for stand-out change-agents, who can work in close co-operation with business teams, on development and implementation of their strategic agenda.   The candidates need to have the relevant experience (ideally 3-5 years) of working for strategy development for mid-large corporate in India - either from top-tier management consulting background, or strategy position within corporate. The individual should be a go-getter with excellent analytical, problem solving and execution skills, who is unafraid of challenging the status quo  Key responsibilities :  - The position of Strategy Manager will be an integral part of the group Strategy team, and play a critical and independent role in defining the business strategies and driving them towards execution, in some of the most important focus areas of the group.   - Key work content includes crystallizing and detailing business growth strategies including target customer / product / geographic segments, development of global expansion strategies and go-to-market planning, supporting entries into adjacent market segments, operational effectiveness and other special projects, benchmarking with best-in-class companies to target continuous improvement, and screening and strategic due diligence of major M&A moves.  - The candidate must possess excellent skills in formulating strategies and driving strategic initiatives within a large company, should be very comfortable with analytical assessment and financial modelling in a data-driven and hypothesis-based manner, and should be able to work independently with senior business leaders. In addition, the individual must be extremely organized, yet comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.   - High energy, "roll-up your sleeves" attitude and commitment to success are absolutely imperative.  - The position will also get an opportunity to move across the Group businesses over a period of time, to get exposure across the group businesses, and get better operational understanding for fast-track career development.   - At any specific time, the Strategy manager will be linked to 2-3 group businesses to support them on strategy formulation and implementation.  Strategy @ Arvind :  - The strategy team at Arvind is responsible for working closely with the business heads for driving growth, transformation and strategic initiatives for their respective businesses.
